What is an incubator?

​

- A proactive, job development and entrepreneurial assistance program  designed to help attract start up businesses and give them the    comprehensive tools, working space, and competitive advantage to succeed long term.  The NBIA defines it as "a catalyst tool for regional economic development." 

 

- Professional working office space with free to very low rent (3 - 9 months)

- A broad base of industry specific tools, education and services:
 

     Business Plan Development (Budgeting / Financial Projections)
     Marketing Assistance

     Strategic Planning
     One on one assistance from professional consultants

     Live video webinars from industry specific strategists and consultants

            What type of businesses or industries should apply?  

     We are looking for serious entrepreneurs, startups, or spin offs (subsidiaries) that can thrive in our program and make a good faith effort to locate permanently in downtown Latrobe upon exiting the program. We also help current businesses and those just starting who do not need to be physically housed in our building.

Participants in the program will be located on the 3rd floor of the Quatrini Rafferty/Old Mellon Bank Building (816 Ligonier Street) which is listed on the PHMC registry for protected historic places. We are offering eight fully functional office suites that are turn key ready, with new office equipment, high speed internet, etc.  We are most grateful for the generosity of Vince Quatrini Jr. Esq and USDA Rural Business Enterprise Grant for making this successful venture possible!
