The Latrobe Community Revitalization Program secured grants from the Port of Pittsburgh Commission with a matching grant by The Latrobe Foundation to fund a Trail Feasibility Study. The study has been completed and the determination made that it is feasible to establish a walking/bike trail between the City of Latrobe and Saint Vincent College, the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve, the Fred Rogers Center, Lawson Heights, and Wimmerton. The trail will also tie into the popular walking path in Legion Keener Park. The Trail Steering Committee is proceeding with next steps.
